You decide at the bench, once the silver is in your hand and you have seen what the tools can do. Nothing is prepared in advance, so no two pieces that leave this studio are the same.

Add-ons: gold plating IDR 250K per item, gemstone IDR 200K per stone. Extra silver beyond the included grams is charged at cost, around IDR 85K per gram.
What the single class is like if you arrive alone
Around half the people at our Sanur benches booked a seat for one. Nobody is paired up with a stranger, and nobody is left to work it out alone.
A smith to yourself
One bench, one guide. You are not sharing an instructor with a tour group, which is why beginners usually finish something they are genuinely pleased with on the first attempt.
Quiet enough to concentrate
We do not run back-to-back coach parties in Sanur. If you want to spend twenty minutes getting a texture right, nothing about the room pushes you along.
Easy to fit into a day
An hour and a half on Jl. Pasar, ten minutes from the beach and the harbour. Plenty of guests come in straight off a morning walk or a returning boat from Nusa Penida.
From raw silver to a finished ring in about two hours
Sketch and measure
We size your finger, talk through what you have in mind, and mark the silver together before anything is cut.
Saw, forge and solder
You saw the metal, shape it over the mandrel and close the joint at the torch, with the smith beside you the whole time.
Texture and polish
Hammer marks, a brushed face or a mirror finish. We box it, and it leaves on your hand.
Before you book a single silver class
No experience is needed and most guests have never held a jeweller saw. The bench is set up before you arrive, the silver is annealed and ready, and every step is shown to you on a scrap piece first.
Plan for an hour and a half, or two if your design has a stone or a lot of texture. The class is indoors at the bench, so rain makes no difference to it. Wear something you do not mind getting a little polishing compound on, and leave precious rings at the hotel.
You leave with a .925 sterling silver piece, boxed, and with the offcuts if you want them. If it needs resizing later any jeweller can do it, and we are happy to look at it again while you are still in Sanur.
The single class is IDR 600K including the silver. Gold plating is IDR 250K per item and a set gemstone IDR 200K per stone, both decided at the bench rather than in advance.
